About Edward
I’m Edward Hill, a Licensed Independent Social Worker (MBA, LISW-S) with more than 20 years of experience helping men face difficult truths, repair relationships, and rebuild their lives from the inside out.
Many of the men I work with are thoughtful, capable, and successful on the surface, yet feel disconnected, frustrated, or stuck beneath it. They often arrive at a turning point after trust has been broken, secrets have been exposed, or familiar coping patterns are no longer working.
My work centers on three core areas:
Relationship Repair After Infidelity and Betrayal
I work with men navigating the emotional fallout of infidelity, porn or sex related behaviors, secrecy, and the breakdown of trust. This includes helping men face shame without collapsing, take responsibility without self destruction, and begin rebuilding integrity and emotional presence.
The work is not about quick forgiveness or surface fixes. It is about learning how to stay honest, regulated, and connected while repairing what has been damaged.

Addiction, Compulsive Patterns, and Emotional Avoidance
Many of the men I work with struggle with addiction or compulsive behaviors that function as emotional regulation rather than simple “bad habits.” Porn, substances, work, and distraction often serve as ways to avoid discomfort, vulnerability, or unmet needs.
I help men understand these patterns as relational and emotional issues, not just behavioral ones. Together, we work to interrupt cycles of secrecy and avoidance and replace them with clarity, accountability, and healthier forms of connection.

Personal Growth, Trauma Healing, and Emotional Development
I guide men toward deeper self understanding through trauma informed work, mindfulness, and experiential therapies. Many men arrive disconnected from their bodies, emotions, and inner lives, often without realizing it.
This work focuses on developing emotional literacy, nervous system regulation, and grounded confidence. It supports men in becoming more present, responsive, and aligned with their values rather than driven by pressure, fear, or performance.
I’ve worked across corporate health insurance, university settings, and major healthcare systems throughout Northeast Ohio. That experience gives me a clear understanding of the pressure high achieving men face, including drive, isolation, emotional distance, and the hidden habits that often accompany success.
I offer a private, supportive space for executives, entrepreneurs, and professionals who want their personal lives to come back into alignment with how they want to live and lead.
My approach is direct, honest, and relational. I don’t sit back passively. I work alongside you to understand the roots of your patterns and to build new ways forward grounded in integrity, discipline, and deeper connection.
Clinical Training and Professional Background
My work is shaped by more than two decades of clinical training and real world experience across public health, medical, academic, and corporate systems. This background allows me to understand the emotional, relational, and systemic pressures that men face — and to provide therapy that is both grounded and deeply practical.
